Soccer Carnival 2019

World Cup fever is set to take over Naracoorte for The Limestone Coast Multicultural Soccer Carnival Saturday 9th of November­. 

The carnival is FREE to attend and will use sport to celebrate a diverse and harmonious Australia by bringing together newly arrived migrants and first and second-generation migrants from different cultural backgrounds from the communities of Limestone Coast (SA), Murray and Mallee (SA), Barwon-West (VIC) and Grampians (VIC). 

The carnival will communicate the message of shared value – respect, equality and freedom.

Coaching Clinics for Young and all

The ALDI MiniRoos will be delivering football clinics for kids who want to get their first taste of football.

Children Aged 5 – 11 years of all skill levels are invited to come experience football in a fun, safe and inclusive environment under the guidance of qualified coaches.

We haven’t forgotten about you parents! There will also be FREE ALDI MiniRoos coaching course.

About the Carnival  

The carnival aims to bring the multicultural regional communities together, providing an opportunity for local children to get active, enjoy and celebrate diversity through sport.
The carnival is free to attend, a team registration fee for soccer tournament

The carnival is at the Naracoorte and Districts Sports Centre
Gates open 9:00 event close 6pm

The carnival is for all ages. Age divisions allocated for tournament


The Carnival Highlights


- 7-a-side soccer tournament consisting of three divisions U9, U13 & Open
- ALDI MiniRoos Clinics (5 – 11yrs)
- Coaches and Parent clinic
- United by football, the value of sport in youth development’ workshop

This event is funded by the Department of Home Affairs Fostering Integration Grants program.
The grants support new initiatives by not-for-profit organisations that will help migrants better integrate into Australian life through employment and community participation.
