Public Health

Often public health and environmental protection go hand in hand.  The Environmental Health Officer investigates situations that have a likelihood of impacting the community in a negative manner.  For example, illegal hazardous substance disposal, insanitary conditions, such as accumulation of domestic waste and many other differing issues liable to affect the health of the community or environment.
