Local Heritage Restoration Fund

Council is pleased to announce that limited funding ($15,000 in two funding rounds of $7,500) is available for distribution to owners of Local Heritage Places who are undertaking restoration or conservation work to their property (for example: painting, repairs, fencing, extensions, refooting,etc…)

 Council has adopted the following guidelines for the Local Heritage Restoration Fund:

  • The Local Heritage Restoration Fund is allocated via a competitive grant process
  • Any property listed as a place of local heritage significance (excluding places owned by Local   and/or State Government) being eligible for a grant.  To view a copy of the Local Heritage list click here.
  • The maximum amount of money available to each property is $2,500.
  • Properties are only eligible to receive a grant every two (2) years;
  • The funding rounds generally open in July and January.

The opening of each round is advertised in the Naracoorte Herald, and on Naracoorte Lucindale Facebook page in January and July, with application forms available at Council's Offices.

Funding Applications must be submitted to Council by 4pm Thursday, 9th March 2017,with funding decisions advised by 13 April 2017.
